Barbara joined the staff of Alabama Public radio in September 2012 as the Underwriting Account Executive and Community Liaison for the WHIL listening area. Her background is in commercial radio and television with over 25 years in the industry; providing good insights into the differences in the public and private sectors. These insights that are of great value when presenting the benefits of Alabama Public radio to prospective underwriters. She was also actively involved in community organizations in Tuscaloosa and served on the Board of Directors for Christmas in April and the Homebuilders Association of Tuscaloosa.
Since moving to the Mobile area Barbara her son Matthew and her husband purchased and run the Alchemy Tavern in downtown Mobile.
Barbara and her husband John reside in Daphne on the Eastern shore of Mobile Bay, where she is a member of the Baldwin Business Council and Mobile, Coastal Alabama and Eastern Shore Chambers of Commerce. She has also served on the board of the Women’s Business Alliance for the past four years.

Alice Gould Madison
Alice has been a member of the Board of Directors for the Women’s Business Alliance for twelve years. She currently serves as Board Secretary. Retired from Mobile Airport Authority as Director of Finance, Alice has more than thirty-five years of experience in banking and finance administration.
Aqualyn has over 20 years of leadership experience in brand management, sales and account management for top consumer packaged goods, technology, financial and entertainment companies.
She grew up in San Antonio, Texas and returned to her familial home of Georgia for college. She graduated from Spelman College with a B.S. in Mathematics, and later an M.B.A. from The Fuqua School of Business at Duke University. Thereafter, she joined the brand team at Procter & Gamble on the Olay and CoverGirl brands. Then she launched her business, AQUA-LYNK Marketing Agency, a brand consulting firm specializing in non-profit, public service, health care and entertainment.. These experiences along with others helped to shape her advocacy work for health care reform as well as health and wellness education. In 2013 after suffering a heart attack while on PCIP, the predecessor to the Affordable Care Act for patients with pre-existing conditions, she became an even more vocal advocate for those with pre-existing conditions.
She has taken the sum of these experiences as the motivation to launch her financial planning service through New York Life to help others plan for and live their best lives. She continues to serve on health and children-focused non-profit boards since her days in Atlanta. She enjoys ‘practicing’ stand-up comedy, improvisational skits, voice-over work, as well as traveling internationally and learning new languages. She is married to Robert Kennedy, Jr.
Angela is a native of Montgomery, Alabama with a degree in International Business and Spanish from Birmingham-Southern College. In 2018 Express Employment Professionals provided hope by giving 2,896 residents in Mobile & Baldwin
Counties an opportunity to earn a paycheck. Angela and her husband Chris were selected as the Franchisees of the Year in 2016 from over 800 offices. Angela’s job doesn’t end at the close of business every day, she a devoted wife and mother. Both her sons are active soccer players and her eldest is a student at Auburn University. Her hobbies include deep-sea fishing, cooking, traveling and watching her sons play sports.
